Designed around a sense of openness and continuity, Brookdale is a 3,000-square-foot custom-built residence where warm natural finishes meet a clean, contemporary interior. The main living space is organized around an open kitchen and a dramatic stone fireplace wall, creating a central gathering area with a strong connection to the surrounding rooms. A sculptural open-riser staircase extends through the home, pairing natural wood with transparent glass railings to allow light and sightlines to move freely between levels. Large glazed openings further enhance this sense of connection, bringing the exterior into view while filling the interior with natural light. Completed over a 12-month period, Brookdale represents an early collaboration between BHI and Elviano, bringing together thoughtful spatial planning, material simplicity, and carefully resolved architectural details to create a home that remains contemporary and functional.
